The Atlas Collection by Sama Rugs is handwoven in Afghanistan using the highest quality wool and the traditional Sumak weaving technique. Known as one of the most intricate and time-consuming methods, Sumak weaving results in rugs that are beautifully textured, incredibly soft underfoot, and feature a slightly higher pile with minimal to no shedding. Each piece in this collection carries a rich tribal heritage, with designs that have been passed down and woven through generations.
