Moroccan Rug Azilal

An Azilal rug handmade of natural thick wool, featuring fun bright symbols on a plain white wool background. Fringe on one side. This small Azilal rug features large diamond shapes and is perfect to add colour to a small area, kitchen, door way or even in the bathroom.

Named after the Azilal province in central Morocco. These carpets are handwoven by Amazigh women, and have the same plushness and high pile as the Beni Ouarain rugs. Their colors are the only thing that distinguishes them. These Berber carpets use vegetable dyes to create more geometric forms and colors.
