Moroccan Rug Azilal

Named after the Azilal province in central Morocco. These carpets are handwoven by Amazigh women, and have the same plushness and high pile as the Beni Ouarain rugs. Their colors are the only thing that distinguishes them. These Berber Carpets use vegetable dyes to create more geometric forms and colors. The Azilal rug is the rug for you if you desire the pattern of a Beni Ourain rug with a little more colour and flare.
